Can you "Ear" Me Now? Keep Your Ears From Sticking Out

The staff at the Wellcome Library in London have scoured the shelves for the weirdest and most wonderful objects in their collection, the ones that made even them scratch their heads when they first set eyes on them. And this is definitely one of them.

I have to laugh.  Anybody remember (especially if you were a girl), your parents taping your ears back if they stuck out.  Mine did.  (I also had the little bowl hair cut ... ugh)  And, I have to say,  my ears don't stick out (lol)... but I definitely would have put up a fight with this Ear cap for correcting and preventing "outstanding" ears, (UK, early 20th century.)

Ya hear what I'm saying?????

Retro and Vintage Inspired Swimwear Around the Net ... (Internet) : )

Ahhh, the 40's and 50's. A time of glamour. A time of feminism. A time of definite style. The retro swimwear covers a little more area (usually) and is still just as sexy if not moreso. A list for those who dream of 50's summer fashion, who love style and who love the unique look of the rock era.

Ashley Greene "the face of Stop Staring" in a skinsuit for SoBe Lifewater

Ashley Greene has quite a resume.  She is the face of Stop Staring an online Vintage and Retro inspired clothing shop, and one of the stars (Alice) of the Twilight series.

This is Ashley Greene in a body paint “skinsuit” on the Turks and Caicos islands for a new SoBe commercial. Photos from the shoot will appear in the 2010 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue.

The 22-year-old actress modeled two of make-up artist Joanne Gairs hand-painted SoBe skinsuits which were inspired by the new, exotic SoBe Lifewater 0 calorie flavors Cherimoya Punch and Strawberry Dragonfruit. The skinsuits take their design cues from the SoBe bottles from the painted scales right down to SoBes signature lizard.

Ashley shared, Being a part of the SoBe skinsuit shoot in the Turks and Caicos was amazing. It took the artist 12 hours to paint the SoBe scales on each skinsuit, but it was totally worth it. Its an experience Ill never forget.

Check out the model shoot!
